Concierge Health Care for Northeastern Students
Sending your child to Northeastern means trusting an urban campus centered in the Fenway neighborhood and a rhythm of college life shaped by the university's signature co-op program. Between demanding academic terms and work placements that can send students across the city, you want your child cared for by a doctor who knows them, whenever & wherever they need it.
Cobblestone Campus gives your Northeastern student a private, around-the-clock concierge physician. We come to their dorm or apartment, test and treat on the spot, and - with their consent - keep you informed, whether you're across the country or across the world.
Why Northeastern parents choose Cobblestone Campus
Built for the co-op rhythm
Northeastern's experiential model means your student's schedule shifts between classroom terms and co-op work placements, often with long, full days and new routines. A doctor available 24/7 by text, phone, or in-person visit fits that rhythm far better than a clinic open only during business hours - your student can get care around their commitments, not the other way around.
We come to where your student lives near campus
Northeastern students live in and around the Huntington Avenue corridor, Fenway, Roxbury, and neighboring areas. We make same-day and next-day visits to dorms and off-campus apartments across these neighborhoods, so a sick student doesn't have to cross the city to be seen when they’re feeling unwell.
A round-the-clock alternative to campus hours
Northeastern's University Health and Counseling Services, located on Forsyth Street near campus, handles many urgent but nonemergency visits during set hours. Cobblestone Campus complements their care with something a campus clinic can't - your student's own physician, reachable any hour, who provides continuity across the whole year, including nights, weekends, and breaks.
Integrated mental health, with continuity
The stops and starts of co-op life, plus ordinary academic pressure, can be hard on a student's mental health - and continuity of care is easy to lose when schedules keep changing. Our physicians provide integrated mental health support for anxiety, depression, and ADHD, including medication management when appropriate, from a doctor who stays constant even when your student's routine doesn't.
Hospital advocacy when it matters most
If your Northeastern student ever needs emergency or specialty care, we help them reach the right place and, if they're admitted, we're at the bedside advocating for them. For families who can't be there in person, that presence is the reassurance a phone call can't give.
How it works for Northeastern families
Your student contacts us with any health concern - by text, phone, or video, any hour. We respond right away and decide together whether it needs a message, a virtual visit, or an in-person visit. We handle point-of-care testing, prescriptions and refills, and management of ongoing conditions on site, and - with your student's consent - we keep you updated. Membership starts at $895 per semester.
A note for out-of-state and international Northeastern parents
Northeastern draws students from across the country and around the world. If you live far from Boston, the distance is exactly what we're built to close. To see how we support families who can't be nearby, visit For Families Living Far From Boston.
