Concierge Health Care for Boston College Students

Sending your child to Boston College means trusting a campus rooted in Chestnut Hill, a leafy setting a few miles from downtown that feels a world away from the city. It also means navigating a health system you've probably never had reason to learn. When your student comes down with the flu the night before an exam, or an old worry resurfaces in a new place, you want them cared for by their own doctor - quickly, and close to where they live.

Cobblestone Campus gives your BC student a private, around-the-clock concierge physician who knows them by name. We come to their residence hall or off-campus apartment, test and treat on the spot, and - with their consent - keep you informed, whether you're across the state or across the world.

Why BC parents choose Cobblestone Campus

Care for the whole person - all year, any hour

Boston College is known for cura personalis - care for the whole person. It's an ideal we share. Beyond the fevers and refills, our physicians look after the whole student: physical health, mental health, and the ordinary wear of a demanding year. And unlike an office with set hours, your student reaches their own doctor 24/7 - by secure text, phone, or an in-person visit - including nights, weekends, and the breaks when campus offices are closed.

We come to where your student actually lives

BC students live across the Chestnut Hill campus and into the surrounding neighborhoods - Brighton and the nearby Boston College area among them. We make same-day and next-day visits to residence halls and off-campus apartments across these areas, so a sick student doesn't have to travel while feeling unwell.

A complement to campus health services

BC's University Health Services, located on Commonwealth Avenue near campus, is a genuine resource for students. But like most campus systems it centers on set hours and rotating providers, and it refers many needs elsewhere. Cobblestone Campus adds something a campus clinic can't: your student's own physician, who knows them, available continuously through the year - and who coordinates care rather than handing it off.

Integrated mental health, with continuity

The pressures of a rigorous BC course load don't keep office hours, and continuity of care is easy to lose in a busy campus system. Our physicians provide integrated mental health support - for anxiety, depression, and ADHD, including medication management when appropriate - from a doctor who stays constant and already knows your student.

Hospital advocacy when it matters most

If your BC student ever needs emergency or specialty care, we help them get to the right place and, if they're admitted, we're at the bedside advocating for them. For families far from Boston, having a knowledgeable person physically present in the hospital is exactly the reassurance a phone call can't provide.

How it works for BC families

Your student contacts us with any health concern — by text, phone, or video, any hour. We respond right away and decide together whether it needs a message, a virtual visit, or an in-person visit to their room. We handle point-of-care testing, prescriptions and refills, and management of ongoing conditions on site, and - with your student's consent - we send you an update so you're never left wondering. Membership starts at $895 per semester.

A note for out-of-state

and international BC parents

Boston College draws students from across the country and around the world. If you're two time zones - or twelve - away, that distance is exactly the problem we solve. To see how we support families who live far from campus, visit For Families Living Far From Boston.
